Adapted from US patent application filed in May 1959 for a child’s coaster, soon to become known worldwide as a skateboard. Surfers in Southern California had been experimenting with ‘sidewalk surfing’ for some years before the craze caught on in the 1960s.

Printed with vegetable-based inks on a carbon neutral press using responsibly sourced, acid free Italian paper.
