Product description
All hand made, using lead free enamels and individually handmade ear-wires. Ideal for both everyday and special occasions.
Vitreous enamel is a process dating back to the ancient Egyptians.
It is finely powdered glass that is fused together on copper, using heat fired in a kiln.
Each of my pieces will have been fired several times at temperatures in excess of 800 degrees centigrade to build up a unique layer of colour.
Background Information about Jane Marshall
For both special occasions and the everyday, Jane Marshall’s handmade pendants and earrings come from a small workshop and are the product of a traditional skillset and materials. Taking inspiration from the natural world and led by the wilful elements of the materials themselves, each wearable art piece is unique and stems from a truly artistic mind.
Whether you love the textures and warm colours of gardens, or the deep blues and stormy greys of the coastline, Jane works with both copper and silver to make jewellery pieces that appeal to everyone. Each piece showcases bold colours that make every outfit pop and is one of kind, ideal for gifts or special treats.
