Andrew Cheetham

Andrew Cheetham was born in Heywood, Manchester in 1971.

He lives and works in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, where he had a studio in one of the old baiting sheds on the harbour.  He has been painting the sea and documenting Scarborought's declining fishing Industry since 2000.  He was selected as Artist in residence at Knaresborough Castle and in Rosedale Abbey on the North York Moors.  Andrw was shortlisted for the 2022 ING Discerning Eye Drawing Bursary.
