Alex Crumbie

Alex Crumbie is an artist, writer and director based in Todmorden.  He has written and illustrated six short stories and poems, all of which are published by Team Trident Press.

'My books are written for adults, children and everyones in between. I believe that the best art and story-telling has something for everyone, so I aim to incorporate important philosophical ideas and concepts into easily understood stories.

I recently directed a short animation fimlm based on my story 'Confessions of an English Ant-Eater, which premiered on BBC Four and screened at many international festivals.  If you wish to watch it you can find it freely available online.
