Clare O'Neill

Claire is a textile and mixed media artist living on Ashdown Forest, East Sussex. With a background in studying textile design at art schools in London and Surrey, She takes much of her inspiration from the natural surroundings of where she lives, capturing the seasonal changes and gathering materials from walks on the forest. . Never one to follow the “less is more” approach, Clare immerses herself and home in natural found objects from her walks to further express her creative side, reflected her practice with Intricate layers of newspaper, collage and scripts are all elements which she returns to again and again. There is certainly an organic and rustic richness to her work.
