Martha's Grandad

Martha’s Grandad is a collaborative craft project between Liz Jones, her daughter Martha and, of course, Martha’s Grandad, that creates beautiful handmade creations in porcelain clay. Inspired by walks with her daughter in the gorgeous Welsh countryside, collecting flowers, and pointing out the names of birds and insects, each bowl or ornament represents familial memories and shared experiences combined with slip stains, glaze, lustre and delicate lace embossed patterns all enhancing the qualities of porcelain.

With each piece embodying aspects of the countryside brought to life in deep blues and vibrant platinum, silver and gold   lustres,  from the studio of Martha’s Grandad is the perfect addition to any home, and an excellent choice for anniversary gifts.
