Based in the East Midlands, Sophie Currie is a designer-maker who specialises in stunning hand-spun copper bowls that are the perfect decorative art piece for any shelf or table. Inspired by a deep love of mathematics, the designs reflected within the metal are depictions of natural found fractal patterns and geometry, resulting in stunning copper root cell and snowflake bowls. Using etching and patination to create these intricate patterns, each copper vessel is hand-made and completely unique, like the naturally occurring patterns that inspire them.
