Gwenn Turner

Textile artist and printer Gwen Turner has always been interested in the effect light and texture has on colour as in the delicate transparency and opulent richness of her silk and paper embroidered bowls. Equally she has a fascination in combining ancient ornamental features and biological specimens as in her “Mythological Creatures” and “Plants with Attitude” series of drypoint etchings.
