Autumn

Though associated with the ‘Season of mists of mellow fruitfulness’ (Keats), Autumn can be a riot of warm earthy colours, shining through in many of our collections for this season.

Keep warm with our popular two tone smooth velvet scarves, new seasons colour combinations by Lua and versatile merino lamb’s wool cowls by Olive Pearson Designs, and Lady Crow Silks crushed velvet shimmering scarves can be complimented with hand finished pewter scarf rings.

As nights draw in, stargazing with a difference in our new crystal lights, 3D spheres lazer-engraved with galaxy, Saturn and Solar System, designed by Gingko Design bring a touch of magical light. Bringing light and colour into the home and dinner table with stripped tall candles by British Colour Standard and their chunky glass t. light holders made with recycled glass don’t cost the earth. Madam Treacle sparkling llustrative cards range from flora and fauna to fantastical creatures which have allure and whimsy in equal measure, especially with subtle sprinkling of glitter (environmentally friendly).

As bats and owls, foxes and hedgehogs come into their own at this time of year - they inspire many jewellery ranges, from Tide Jewellery made with iridescent Paua shell, to silver and bronze owls, hares and moon, and the odd bee and tree shapes by Xuella Arnold.
Intricate bronze casting miniature creatures by David Meredith compliment the felt pocket toys by Amica, whose new range all sport a cute red and white spotted bandana.

The memorable rustling of dry leaves is echoed in leaf themed pendants and earrings in silver by Reevesand Reeves, and colourful copper, enamel and silver of Jane Marshall. Noticing berries on plants and trees the tree laser cards by Forever Cards burst with colour and do tiny berry like glass earrings by HelenCharmers.

Stepping into craft and molten hot glass, artisan Allister Malcolm trails and spins golden or silver threads of glass on the surface of his richly coloured glass bowls and vases. The look fabulous catching light shining through, a touch of luxury for Autumn.
