Background Information about Ebony Andrews

Based in Hebden Bridge, Ebony Andrews (b. 1982, Dewsbury), was awarded a BA in Fine Art from Northumbria University. Andrews has a keen interest in museology, and has previously worked for National Museums Scotland as well as various independent arts organisations. She gained a Master’s degree in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from the University of Leeds before completing a PhD in the same field in 2014. She is currently a member of the collections team at Calderdale Museums Service, and has practised taxidermy for over a decade.
