My work explores concepts of place and displacement, connection and disconnection. I'm particularly drawn to fragile, neglected and often overlooked or unremarkable places. Discovering new narratives, connections and unexpected resonances I find within the familiar it's still possible to get lost.

All four works are unique Polaroid images framed to a high standard in quality wood type frames. I've always been interested in making images that can't be manipulated or reproduced. Learning how to use what is a rudimentary camera has been an intuitive and visceral process. There's a sense of anticipation in getting something  I didn't quite expect and a slower more deliberate way of working. These small, tactile photo objects draw the viewer into the Frame and mirrors the way I intensely observe and contemplate small details in the landscape
