Michael Tierney

Having been a picture framer for 26 years, I then decided to get on the creative side of the business during lockdown.
I have exhibited with some commendations at the Blackburn, Hyndburn, Clitheroe, Manchester and Liverpool open shows. I am a great admirer of late 19th to mid 20th century painters such as Alfred Munnings, Ivon Hitchens, the Newlyn school and the Glasgow boys. The combination of natural and man made scenery in places like Calderdale i find especially interesting.
