A Day of Tigers

Product description

The pot’s story is inspired by the experience of looking at tigers in the zoo. It questions the viewer ‘are you standing inside or outside the cage with the tigers?’ or ‘have the tigers escaped the cages into the human environment?’ You can see ‘bars’ as the imagined ‘boundary’ between you and nature, between the human world and the artificial natural environment of the zoo. By looking both inside and the outside of the pot you are invited to tour between the oppositional worlds. It is an open story to fill in your own understanding and in this procedure you are awaking your own awareness of yourself in nature.
